Cal Poly Ranked 2nd in Nation for Median Salary for Physical, Life Sciences Grads

was recently ranked No. 2 in the nation for median salaries for graduates with bachelor degrees in physical and life sciences. 

 

Cal Poly’s College of Science and Mathematics ranked No. 2 in the nation for median salaries in physical and life sciences degrees, according to the latest salary report from PayScale.com.

The ranking in PayScale’s annual College Salary Report places Cal Poly just behind UC Berkeley. A total of 60 public and private schools were included in the ranking.

Salaries ranged from $54,500 as entry-level employees to $115,000 after 10 years on the job.

The College Salary Report also ranked Cal Poly No. 10 in the nation among public universities for median salaries.

“This new ranking recognizes that a Cal Poly education continues to be among the best in the nation,” said Cal Poly President Jeffrey D. Armstrong. “Our graduates hit the ground running from the first day of their careers.
