$10K Science Teaching Scholarships Available

All junior and senior science and engineering majors interested in teaching science are eligible to apply to the National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program for the 2016-17 academic yearPlease encourage qualified students to consider this opportunity.
 
Scholarship recipients must:
  • Commit to teach science for two years in a high needs K-12 school district
  • Participate in monthly Noyce Seminars during 2015-16 and 2016-17
  • Participate in the STEM Teacher and Researcher Program (STAR) or equivalent paid teacher-researcher opportunity prior to completion of science teaching credential
An information session will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the Baker Center, Building 180, Room 208A. Applications are due online on Friday, Oct. 2. For more information, visit the Center for Excellence in STEM Education website or email noyce-science@calpoly.edu.
